Quatro SUP Glide 2019

All-Around Thruster/Quad

The new Glide Pro is more surfing oriented throughout all its sizes. Keith Teboul’s idea for the Glide Pro was to create something easy, stable and fast to paddle, yet it has a shining spark in its wave maneuverability.

The board comes with solid rockers and full outlines, giving it a completely different level of stability and comfort, greatly enhanced by the Integrated Stability Deck, which serves as an ergonomic stance platform, working slightly against the convex deck, offering a solid stance. The nose rocker has a lower entry for ease of paddling and a very constant glide, hence the name. The bottom transitions from single to double to vee for a very agile board.

To us the Glide Pro is the go to board for cruising and small waves. This is the Sup that Keith and his wife grab and go to the south side, throw their dog onboard and ride the fun waves.

The deck consists of a generous diamond grove Quatro pad covering both your paddling and surfing stance for added comfort, while leaving the nose and rails bare to save weight for improved performance. All boards come with a raised tail kick for added grip when riding waves.

The Glide features a plug to attach a windsurfing rig.

The new Glide is identical to the Glide Pro except for it’s more affordable construction ideal for surf schools.

Offering a durable, tough and light board, but considerably more affordable than our Pro Sup constructions, the Glide uses a cubed fused cell foam core. An advanced wood sandwich build guarantees for light weight and supreme water resistance.

Regular Glide models feature unidirectional glass rein-forced rails for extra stiffness in surf conditions. High grade epoxy resin creates an impact resistant outer skin while increasing overall hull strength.

Quatro SUP Carve 2019

Surfing Thruster/Quad

Buy it HERE!

The new Carve Pro has been radically changed from previous years to deliver a vastly improved experi- ence for paddlers of all abilities and weights. The range sees the introduction of a new bigger Carve Pro for heavier paddlers as well as a new smaller board for advanced, professional and lighter weight riders.

New features on this board include a faster rocker, the boards simply accelerate quicker and have a faster top end speed on the wave, making turns more radical. You can make the section easier than on previous models. The faster rocker also helps increase paddling speed, making it easier to catch waves and get into the best positons. This is especially noticeable in fast waves and crowded line ups. Speed is so important in small and big waves alike and these new boards have lots of it.

Furthermore the new Carve Pro delivers increased nose lift in combination with a narrower nose width, this really helps when dropping, especially late drops on bigger waves when you don’t want the nose to catch. Thinner rails aid in a looser feel, and a tighter turning radius. The new narrower overall width is faster, while a more shallow tail makes the the board feel smaller to enhance the surfboard feeling with more release on the top turn.

The Integrated Stability Deck provides a stabel ride. This greatly helps to reduce fatigue, especially with smaller tippy boards. The new Carve Pro comes with a 3/4 pad.

The Thruster or Quad option allows a wide range of tuning. In bigger surf you can really benefit from the quad option for more speed and grip.

The Carve Pro delivers a consistent feel through the range. Each board has similar surfing characteristics with some progression as the boards get smaller. The 7’7” is the most extreme board in the range, while the larger boards in the range are a little more forgiving and make it easy to surf, have fun and progress.

These boards excel at anything from 1⁄2 ft to 15 ft faces, they love to be surfed. Each board in the new range was tested in a wide range of conditions in Hawaii, Califor- nia, South America & Europe. The result is a range which is built to handle a huge array of waves. Speed is so important in small and big waves and these new boards have lots of it. If the waves are big or the water choppy then changing up a board size has often been a good idea. Stability was also incredibly important to make these boards user friendly in a wide range of conditions, for example in big waves there is a lot of water moving around and staying upright and confident is very important. In choppy, lumpy conditions, being stable, these new boards enable you to use a smaller board and surf better.

The optimal wave size for this range would be 2 to 10ft faces, this is what most people surf in and hence this is what the boards are optimized for. The 7’7” is a little narrower compared rest of the range and is tuned for more advanced surfing and hence can handle even faster waves, which riders of this board will tend to seek out.

If you are very experienced on the 7’10” and want to take your surfing to a new level this could be your next board. This is a board with no limits.

Goya Fringe 2019

Fringe PRO and Fringe X

The new Fringe Pro is quicker, more stable and more quiet than ever. This year, the foot batten joins the clew of the sail.

A bit of a story here. 3 batten wave sail designs have had foot batten configurations one of two ways. Back ends have either been above or behind the clew. The latter provides a more Freeride sort of feel, not the driven wave setup we were after. Neither was the traditional foot batten ending well below the clew.

The new Fringe Pro is different. Our foot batten connects right to the clew. With the outhaul basically attached to the foot batten, rider input to the sail is mega direct, quick, and easy. This means you get the full effect of attaching your outhaul to the clew point and the foot batten end at the same time. Quickness, lightness, directness, and this is the important point, you have full dynamic leech twist all the way down to the clew, to the point you are hanging on to directly. It’s a very cool feeling. Gutsy, deep sails that are flexible and opening properly, so that you can be comfortable and confident especially in breaking waves.

Still the Fringe Pro is awesome to freeride, being such a fun and light sail, easy to rig and maneuver.

The 2019 Fringe X Pro is virtually the same sail as the Fringe Pro, except for it’s window material being X-Ply film with spectra yarn reinforcements for maximum durability.

Our ultimate modern, superlight, minimalist wave sail. Feather light handling, unlimited maneuverability, amazing power, stability and flex.

Goya Banzai 2019

Bantai PRO and Banzai X

The 2019 Banzai Pro is holding tight to the concept overall, being Goya’s maximum modern, explosive power, technical performance World Cup wave sail. Introducing scrim film material luff panels for more depth and flex in the sails.

The Banzai Pro traditionally delivers tremendous tunability, from light downhaul load and a flexy feel to high downhaul tension, finer foil, open head feel with that coveted Goya Windsurfing loose leech.

Special size notes for the Banzai Pro include the beautiful new smaller sizes 3.15 to 4.2, which have become shorter, deeper, more stable and more flexible hot rod sails, quiet and comfortable even if you want to sail super strong winds, hold a line, and just enjoy. The boom on the 4.7 is a touch shorter and this size now really exemplifies the Goya Mix & Match rigging range mast concept. We don’t aim to make the sail feel as same as possible rigged on 370 or 400, but rather we desire the 370 to offer the full flex feel, and the 400 to give the best of that open head locked in feeling. The enormous rigging range and resulting conditions range is an unrivaled plus with these sails.

The 2019 Banzai X Pro is virtually the same sail as the Banzai Pro, except for its window material being X-Ply film with spectra yarn reinforcements for maximum durability.

The Banzai X Pro is for rougher days, riskier jumps, bolder experiments. It still feels at home in Hawaii, but this sail loves to travel, go places, get out and sail, for days, weeks or years.

Other than that this sail is holding tight to the same concept of a maximum modern, explosive power, technical performance wave sail.
